Placemats? This is just a sheet of paper. Placemats in my books have a backing to absorb heat and stop it from sliding. This is just nothing. don't know how to describe it.

i thought i was ordering plastic or rubber place mats, but these are just paper. a place mat to me is like a table place mat that you can put your plate on or hot things. a bit of a waist of time and money if they are only paper.......
