How do I get the best results for my embroidered products?
Last updated 16 June 2026.
Use simple, clear designs with large text and minimal colours to ensure your embroidery looks clean and is easy to read.

Design guidelines for embroidery

To achieve the best embroidery quality, keep your design clear and suitable for stitching:

  • Use large, clear graphics. Simple artwork produces cleaner stitching.

  • Make sure any text is at least 0.635 cm (¼ inch) high so it stays legible when embroidered.

  • Avoid fine details, colour gradients or intricate patterns, as they don’t translate well to thread.

  • Logos work best when they use solid shapes and a limited number of colours.

How we review your design

Every embroidery design is reviewed before production. If we think your design won't look as expected once embroidered, we’ll contact you by email with recommended adjustments to help improve the final result.
